Premier album officiel sous le nom My Own [k]nowhere après les 3 démos confidentielles ("Not the same as I am" 2004, "No opportunity to show my clever side" 2006, et "Not the same opportunity" 2007), c'est une compilations de compositions enregistrées avec les moyens du bord en bretagne et en normandie, selon mes lieux d'habitation très variables cette année là. Très influencé pop, electro et metal, Smog of a conscience mélange piano, guitares, batteries, instruments électroniques et acoustiques pour dessiner un cadre très libre aux frontières floues à ce projet My Own [k]nowhere, cadre qui sera similaire sur le second album "..and rewind"et le quatrième album "Tinkering around the moonlight". Le 3ème album, "A measure of time", lui, a eu droit a un "vrai" cadre aux frontières beaucoup plus claires!
